Many Birds One Tree is a key image and phrase for me. My mom inspired this notion and painting as a life-long social activist in her community. The phrase works on a number of levels- for families and their many personalities- or even in terms of the greater earth and concepts of peace or ecology. There are every stripe and color of bird in this tree of life. My husband hand builds the wooden clocks and I paint them, decopoging the main image- and hand detailing the clock body. The pendulum has a detail image of a little bird tucked into a bottlecap on it. Or you can ask for a sun image or heart)
The wooden clock is about 15 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide and two inches deep- the pendulum hangs down about 3 more inches and swings. These clocks perk up a room and fit in any decor.
A nice way to recall just how precious time is.
It weighs about 4 lbs, the clock runs on 2 AA batteries, the pendulum is metal.
