The relief plates are as much a wall piece as server. I create the intricate master tile in clay and then create a reverse, using this to press the plate slabs into. Next the “printed” slab is laid into a slump plate mold to form. Post bisque firing I add both underglazes and flow glazes for a rich effect.
Plates are 12 inches in diameter and food safe.
