Description
Canoes are such a beautiful shape and inspire such myth as a journey-boat for me.
I create these canoes from clay slab and carve into them while they are leather-hard.
Next I rub color into the texture and shapes created adding more glazes or paint and detail post firing for a rich surface. Each is a unique sculpture. You may commission one. Specify colors and some imagery over the surface of the boat. Imagery is nature-based- fish, turtle, water. or animals
