Night Owl with a sliver moon. The sound of an owl at night is both comforting and mystical. I am lucky to have gotten to look at owls up-close as they were being helped by bird rescue. From my Animals as Individuals series- when you get to know an animal they clearly are themselves as are you. I did this series of portraits to make this point- and the value of each living being.
